Abstract:
"Sustainable Grenadines Inc. (SusGren) is a trans-boundary Non-Governmental Organization committed to empowering local communities in the Grenadines to protect their environment and take part in sustainable livelihoods. In partnership with the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, SusGren will be assisting communities adjacent to the Sandy Island Oyster Bed Marine Protected Area with the implementation of the Local Early Adaptation Planning (LEAP) guide. The LEAP guide is designed to help local communities assess their vulnerabilities to climate change and plan appropriate adaptation measures. The outcome of the project will be an Action Plan, containing a list of actions the community can take to address existing threats and potential impacts of climate change. This video contains audio and closed captioning, but no textual description."
