Abstract:
This memorandum presents road stabilization opportunities identified on August 25, 2009 by the Horsley Witten Group (HW), Coral Bay Community Council (CBCC), and the NOAA Coral Program for reducing erosion and sediment loading from the unpaved portions of Calabash Boom Rd., located on St. John, USVI. Calabash Boom Rd. was identified as a chronic source of sediment to Coral Bay and was listed as one of the priority sites for restoration in the 2008 Coral Bay Watershed Management Plan.
