Abstract:
In recent years, emphasis has been placed on improved coordination between NMFS management and research components, and on closer coordination with agency partners and constituents. These efforts continued throughout Fiscal Year (FY) 1991. In addition, liaison with the Fishery Management Councils (FMC); Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (FWCA) activities; outreach efforts; and research coordination received considerable attention. The following report, prepared jointly by the HCD and SEFC, provides an overview of habitat conservation activities for the year.
