Coral Reef Watch (CRW) uses satellite data to provide current reef environmental conditions to quickly identify areas at risk for coral bleaching. CRWs high resolution monitoring 50-km and 5-km products that are part of NCRMP are are highlighted. Included are CRWs research on coral disease outbreaks, their Free Automated Bleaching Alerts, forecasting coral bleaching, environmental stresses based on satellite data, and development of pilot satellite coean color products to help monitor water variables affecting coral health.
