Abstract:
"The Manell-Geus watershed on Guam was selected as one of ten Habitat Blueprint Focus Areas across the nation for the Pacific Island region by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 2014. Habitat Blueprint is a national initiative focused on habitat conservation led by NOAA. The primary national objective of Habitat Blueprint is to build and expand the understanding of biological, physical, and climate related factors to habitat condition through improved data collection and modeling, and provide the necessary tools and information to communities and local resource managers. The purpose of NOAA's Habitat Blueprint Manell-Geus site is to act strategically across programs and with partner organizations to address the growing challenge of coastal and marine habitat loss and degradation in Manell-Geus."
