Abstract:
The salinity control structures (SCSs) were selected from the STRUCTURES feature class in the SFWMD's ArcHydro Extended Database. The SCSs were selected visually and verified with technical input from South Florida Watershed Management District (SFWMD) personnel.
Purpose:
The SCSs represent the most upstream extent of salinity intrusion in the estuary associated with the inlet.
