This plan aims to monitor the Nations coral reefs through consistent systematic monitoring surveys. NCRMP consists of four monitoring components: coral reef fish, benthic organisms, climate, and socioeconomics. AOML has a leadership role in implementing the climate monitoring, including monitoring of ocean temperature and ocean acidification on reefs. SEFSC has a leadership role in implementing the fish and benthic monitoring.
