Abstract:
"This supplement to the September 30, 2012 issue of the Pacific Daily News highlights the start of the Guam Community Coral Reef Monitoring Program (GCCRMP). This community outreach program trains community members to do monitoring surveys on Guams coral reefs. The program not only educates about the importance of coral reefs to the island and teaches about the different marine species that call Guam home, it also provides an avenue for communities to provide support to, and communicate with, local reef managers."
