Abstract:
"There were two primary objectives to conducting this survey. The impetus for the survey was to provide background information to inform a social marketing campaign regarding littering in Saipan, with a potential focus on LaoLao Bay. Because surveys are time and resource intensive, local resource agencies in CNMI as well as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coral Reef Conservation Program used the opportunity to collect information on knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of coral reefs and coral reef management strategies."
