Abstract:
"Coral Reef News is a monthly e-newsletter established by the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) to provide information on the activities of the CRCP and other relevant NOAA programs. The CRCP supports effective management and sound science to preserve, sustain and restore valuable coral reef ecosystems. This issues Of Special Note section highlights (1) NOAA announces Expanded Coral Warning System: Meets international partnership goal of Presidents Ocean Action Plan; and (2) NOAA survey shows most Flower Garden Banks coral reefs recovering from bleaching event: Continued study may provide clues on reefs resiliency. Other sections in this issue include Announcements, Updates, Coral Reefs in the News, and Upcoming Events."
