Abstract:
This village plan for watershed management in Faga'alu was developed by the village community , in collaboration with local and federal resource partners using information collected from community workshop and participatory tools used to identify key threats to the watershed. The plan is a guide to the village to improve management of the resources within the watershed in an adaptive management. It is also a guide to better inform the resource partners on how to support and provide resources to manage the village watershed. The village has the ownership of this plan and will work collaboratively with the resource partners to facilitate and implement activities in the plan"--Introduction.
