Abstract:
"A public workshop was conducted on July 16th, 2007 in Dania Beach, Florida at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA). The workshop was widely advertised in order to bring together a group of people from diverse backgrounds and differing points of view. The goal of the workshop was to receive public input and discussion on the draft document Development of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for Construction, Dredge and Fill and Other Activities Adjacent to Coral Reefs?. Participants at the workshop included representatives from the coastal construction industry, permitting and environmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and the general public. The workshop agenda is provided in the appendix."
