Abstract:
"UNEPs overall objective for the regional training workshop was to build capacity among managers, local government authorities, and local community leaders to establish socioeconomic monitoring programmes for MPAs. Hence the workshop had two specific purposes: 1. To introduce the concepts of socioeconomic monitoring based on SocMon Caribbean. 2. To prepare participants to use SocMon Caribbean as an immediate follow-up."
