Abstract:
Collectively, these slideshows, presented in March 2011, address both office and field aspects of coral reef regulatory oversight. Unit 1 provides a basic overview of the biology and ecology of Southeast Florida Coral Reefs. Unit 2 covers coral reef legislation and regulation at the federal, state, and country levels on a general level, while Unit 3 deals in greater detail with compliance and enforcement of coral reef regulation.
