Abstract:
"The Wildlife Conservation Society's (WCS) Asia Pacific Coral Reef Program provides an integrated approach to researching the factors that influence the health of coral reef ecosystems. The specific objectives of this study have been to: 1. Work with all key stakeholder groups to develop and implement an effective management strategy based on information collected. 2. Build community support for the new management plan and increase awareness of the status and benefits of the new management strategy. 3. Monitor the effectiveness of the management plan and incorporate findings into an adaptive management system"--Summary.
