Abstract:
Various documents related to the Precious Corals Fishery Management Plan for the Hawaiian Islands. The Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for the precious corals fisheries of the western Pacific region was implemented in September 1983. The FMP and its amendments treat precious coral beds as distinct management units because of their widely separated, patch distribution and the sessile nature of individual colonies.
