Abstract:
"The Joint Archive for Sea Level (JASL) is a collaborative arrangement between the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC), the World Data Center (WDC-SS) for Oceanography, Silver Spring, and the University of Hawaii Sea Level Center (UHSLC). Beginning in the Fall of 2000, the JASL is supported by the new NOAA National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC). The JASL is responsible for the collaborative archive referred to as the Research Quality Data Set. JASL Software: SLP64. This version of the software is designed for 64-bit MS operating systems (OS). The goal is processing and quality controlling of hourly sea level data. It is the 2014 update to the SLPR2 package. The plotting routines for SLP64 are based on Python/Matplotlib. There are several improvements from the SLPR2. There is presently not a version in Spanish. The SLP64 package utilizes the tidal analysis and prediction routines of the Institute for Ocean Sciences, Canada (Dr. Mike Foreman) Tidal Package."
