Provides citations and links to resources selected to advance research and study of Molasses Reef, one of the most fragile ecosystems of the American coastline. Its literature has been collected from oceanographic databases, conference proceedings, and other published items; future editions will include locally collected gray literature and photographic images. Molasses Reef is a protected area within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The bibliography is part of NOAA's Coral Literature Education and Outreach project (CLEO), which was designed to provide easy access to gray literature and pre-1990s literature on coral reef environments near NOAA's Integrated Coral Observing Network/Coral Reef Early Warning System (ICON/CREWS) monitoring stations.
