Abstract:
Workshop results include a list of priority social science research projects for the region, and tools for building regional capacity to incorporate social science into MPA planning, management, and evaluation. Tools for regional capacity building involve identification of potential partners and funding resources to promote regional coordination among agencies, social scientists, and stakeholders.
